Main Titles cue, the synth-brass (Yamaha CS-80) passage that alternates E with F♯/E over a held E; in Jamieson's transcription this is the second half of the cue, from about 2:23
An F♯ major triad sounded over a held low E, so the chord's A♯ becomes the raised fourth of E Lydian. In the Main Titles, Vangelis's CS-80 swings between plain E major and this F♯-over-E colour, which glows rather than pulling anywhere. Guitarists will know the sound as the Lydian 'II over I' slash chord.
