FamousPinball Wizard ChordPinball Wizard, 1969 · The Who (written by Pete Townshend)
The Bsus4 to B move that ends the acoustic intro and drives the verses, then moves down to A (and other chords) with the same grip
A B chord with the third (D♯) swapped for the fourth (E), so it hangs in the air until it drops back to plain B major. Pete Townshend strums the sus4-to-major move hard and slides the same grip to other chords, which gives Pinball Wizard its restless drive. The shape uses the thumb over the neck for the bass note.
Also called Townshend sus4, Pete Townshend sus4
